ARTIST BIOGRAPHY.

Michael Arizmendi is an Austin-based artist, producer, composer, educator, trumpet player, bassist, pianist, singer, and rapper from Brownsville, TX, whose musical vision transcends traditional genre boundaries, blending hip-hop, jazz-fusion, and funk into a uniquely compelling sound. He draws inspiration from an eclectic spectrum of influences and has played in rock, classical, EDM, jazz, pop, and Latin settings. Performances include multiple appearances with the International Trumpet Guild, Carnegie Hall's National Youth Orchestra, and the Global Jazz Workshop. He has had the opportunity to be mentored by Terri Lynne Carrington, Nicholas Payton, Jason Palmer, Billy Buss, Steve Davis, Nadje Noordhuis, Angel Subero, and Ledisi. Additionally, he has also shared the stage with Kris Davis, Marquis Hill, and The California Honeydrops. 

Arizmendi has established himself as an artist committed to pushing creative boundaries while maintaining raw emotional authenticity. Michael uses his art to spark change, inspire connection, and speak honestly about the world in and around us. 


Graduating from Berklee College of Music with a BFA in Professional Music, Arizmendi gigs, teaches, and records in and out of the city. His newest single, “So High (To Get Away)” is OUT NOW on ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS!
